random student survey

Yesterday I surveyed my students in regards to their thoughts and feelings towards school. Here are a few of the questions and some of the responses grouped together.

I plan to meet with a few of the students to seek more input on their responses .

I certainly feel that most of my students enjoy coming to school as through the first semester I had 9 students with perfect attendance. I never had that high of number not miss a school day half way through the school year. I do know they all have there days and moments where they do not like it, especially those students who have to owe me time for behavior and choices.
This group of students loves to be social and be active. I just need to be creative in how I use the two to keep my students engaged. I am looking forward to finishing the school year strong in hopes of making it an enjoyable 2nd grade experience for all of my students.
