Student goals

A few weeks ago, I sat down with students to re-establish their goals for the remainder of the school year. Students were excited to have a reminder of the goal on their desks in which each student's goal was placed on his/her desk. Since doing this idea, I have spent a couple days a week having students think about ways they can achieve their goals. During our morning meeting, we have spent time weekly addressing what students can do individually and as a class to accomplish our goals. I really like the visual and it offers the students a daily reminder of what they would like to accomplish yet this school year. For two students, this has been a great idea in helping them work harder to achieve their goals.
