Wow, the past few days I have felt like I have spent most of the time within the APA manual or with Purdue Owl. Might I add it has been frustrating at times not being able to find answers to my questions in either place. I do feel that I know more about it now but there are still so many things to learn. One frustrated aspect is that no two papers had similar things. The APA manual and other example papers were rather different in quite a few areas. Why do things have to change?
In looking at other papers within the community and researching correct APA formatting, I feel it definitely helped me in looking at my own paper. I still have a few questions that are unanswered but I feel I have made some nice progress with it this past weekend.
In addition, it really was the first time I have worked with the review features (comment and tracking) within Office. I actually enjoyed learning how to use it and provide feedback to other community members. Now, let's just hope that I did not create more confusion and frustrations for those people.
I believe I am close in making sure my paper is ready to submit.
Tony,
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your help with the APA specifications. Your knowledge in this has helped me learn more about it too. I appreciate all the time and effort you put forth reading my paper to help make it more polished!
